The Challenge
TSAO Baltimore partnered with the Baltimore Orioles to release an officially licensed, limited-edition timepiece. The challenge was to visually balance two strong identities: TSAO’s refined, modern watch design language and the Orioles’ iconic, high-energy branding. The creative needed to feel premium without losing the excitement, pride, and immediacy of Baltimore sports culture.
At the same time, the assets had to perform. These designs would live across email marketing, website banners, and digital ads, meaning clarity, hierarchy, and conversion-focused layout were just as important as aesthetics.
The Approach
The creative direction leaned into contrast and cohesion.
I anchored the designs in bold Orioles orange paired with deep blacks and neutral tones to maintain a luxury feel. Product photography was treated as the hero, with lighting, scale, and placement emphasizing craftsmanship and dial detail. Typography was intentionally strong and legible, borrowing cues from sports marketing while staying clean and structured.
Each layout was designed with modular flexibility in mind, allowing the campaign to scale across multiple formats without losing consistency. Calls to action were prominent but controlled, reinforcing urgency without overpowering the product.
The Results
The campaign successfully supported the launch of TSAO Baltimore’s first officially licensed MLB collaboration. The visuals reinforced brand credibility, elevated the perceived value of the product, and helped position the watch as both a collector’s item and a wearable statement for Orioles fans.
Most importantly, the creative struck the intended balance: premium watchmaking meets hometown pride.
